
Bucks County is pleased to announce the appoint of 3 new Assistant Coaches with the boys U17 and U18 for an initial period of 24 months.
We are pleased to add to the coaching talent in our CB programmes, and excited by the experience, skills and insights Kirk, Chris and Paul will bring to help our County lads continue to enhance their rugby skills and experience.
Paul Baines
Paul has the England Rugby Advance Coaching Award (level 3).
In the early 1990s, he played in the north east in both rugby union and rugby league. Paul has coached in Northampton's DPP as well as with local clubs.
He plays twice a year, in super vets tournaments in Prague and Dubai.
Chris Umpleby
Chris has played since the age of 13 when he returned to this country having lived in Liberia West Africa.
He played at 2,6,9,11,15 for Sandal, Wakefield and county.
Chris coached at Aylesbury RFC for the current Colts side since U8's but stepped down to concentrate on refereeing with Bucks refereeing society for the last 4 years.
Stepped back into the coaching team for the Colts this season.
Kirk Collins
Kirk played both codes growing up through the years, dual code (Union and League) junior international, played 6, 8 or Centre.
He is currently coaching Dubstablians senior men’s side and has coached for nearly 18 years.
Kirk says that his passion is "helping people maximise their ability and being the best version of themselves through rugby".
